Città Azzurra Società Cooperativa Sociale has a 30-year experience in the world of social work and of the human services, specifically those oriented at the psycho-social awkwardness.
Our cooperative runs several facilities; protected communities and collective flats for psychiatric patients, a day center and community for users suffering eating habits disorders and a further socio-pedagogic day center for handicapped people.
Città Azzurra also realises international cooperation projects in Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda building schools, dormitories, multifunctional rooms, wells and medical clinics.
Città Azzurra currently counts 60 coworkers among employees and freelancers.

Città Azzurra’s board of directors represents the constant search for models and solutions for and with the user in a vision which sees in the collaboration between public and independent a founding element for the optimal supply of personal services.
The Cooperativa Città Azzurra, rooted in the territory of the Bolzano Province since almost 30 years, thinks that the winning factor of an organizational system like ours, which counts 50 among employees and coworkers, is given by the adhesion and the shared responsibilities of the members and the management level.
Umberto Carrescia, President, has been in the field of cooperatives for more than 25 years, both in the managerial scope as well as in the development and management of international projects.
Antonello Sanna, Vice President, has been coordinating for decades the services in the field of psychiatry and more broadly in the field of personal services. Trained nurse, he is responsible for all the personnel and has been working in the cooperative for more than 20 years.
Simone Moser, Board Member, embodies the new generation approaching the management of cooperatives. Trained technician for psychiatric rehabilitation, he covers the role of administrative manager and supervisor of the rehabilitation programmes.
